In most Asian cultures, the number 18 is deemed to be auspicious... moreover, in numerology, 18 is 1 plus 8 and that equates to the biggest number 9: this signifies strength and longivity...
The Symbol ohm was used because of the simple reason of the resemblance of the pronunciation of Omni and ohm. The derived SI unit of electrical resistance, being the resistance between two points on a conductor when a constant potential difference of one volt, applied between these points, produces a current of one ampere in the conductor is represented by the Symbol ohm. Hence, in the context of the IT arena, the 'resistance to change' is the primary challenge for most organisations and hence - the task of change and the ability to adapt are the basis to success in embarking on any IT project/s...
