Our brief history & background...
Omni-Tech started from the humble background of the design and project management/implementation of IT infrastructure projects (LAN, WAN etc) including the supply, installation, commissioning and the support of the required hardware (DEC, HP, IBM SUN & hardware requirement sizing etc), including Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies; to Lotus Notes/Microsoft Exchange set up, application development and support; to the heavy-duty, back-end reporting (printing / billing) engines for very large corporates in managing their customers databases and monthly billing cycles. Omni-Tech had the opportunity in providing technical and project management support in a couple of major projects in overcoming the millennium bug (Y2K); thereafter, Omni-Tech was engaged in assisting one of its customers in setting up a local (internal) desktop help-desk support of more than 1,200 nodes.
Omni-Tech, over the millennium, had also engaged in the provision of managed professional services, coupled with, on numerous occasions, with project management. These included the project design, implementation, support, and enhancements of Oracle core technologies, mySAP R/3 and several other ERP solutions. With the wealth of experiences in these areas, spreading over various industry segments, Omni-Tech inevitably received many requests from its pool of delighted customers in searching for, full-time, permanent professionals in the Infocomm & Technology arena. These included technical developers, functional consultants, project managers and senior managers across the entire Infocomm & Technology spectrum and varied industry sectors.
Today, Omni-Tech has matured to a result-oriented professional support organization for many customers. These include direct end-users organizations and project implementation partners of Technology companies to System Integrators.
